Royal Jordanian Spices Up Their Planes

I hope they finish this before I head to the States for Christmas…

I wonder if part of the money is going toward distracting those screaming rugrats that can turn a trans-atlantic trip into a nightmare. :)

Good luck with that! Personally, I’ll avoid them in the future if possible (said that once before, ah well, maybe next time).

What about food? Are they gonna upgrade their food? THEY REALLY NEED TO UPGRADE THEIR FOOD.

well, lets just hope the remodelling isnt only skin deep, other wise they would only be pimping your ride:) the entertainment system certainly needs changing!

oh yeah, and also, they should REALLY do something about the fist fights that keep breaking out on board. Seriously. THREE fist fights on my trip to New York, and one on my trip back. What the hell is that? Give those Jordanians sedatives before they get on the plane or something.

I’ll be happy if they just left on time. My last two flights to the States left over an hour late. I managed to make my connecting flight the first time, but the second time left me stranded in New York for the night! Bah!

I’m amazed that they haven’t already upgraded their long-haul flights. Those flights are their bread and butter. You’d think that installing decent entertainment systems to pass the 12-hour flight time would be a no-brainer by now.

With my most recent experience. I’m flying BA to Jordan. Sorry, RJ Lost my business. I might give them another chance in the future, but for now .. I’m sticking to someone with a better reputation

Maybe they should do something about making sure your luggage gets to its destination at the same time you do and everything you packed in there is still in it. I am not flying RJA ever again, God willing.

Also, the reason kids cry on those flights is b/c the entertainment sucks, the food is awful, the seats have no cushioning on them (how can they sleep there?), the staff are mean, and the childless passengers are meaner (probably the same guys getting into fist fights… are the kids really the ones to complain about?) Oh, and the bathrooms stink. Because the adults don’t clean up after themselves. You’d cry too.

    Long live Lufthansa.

Amen Umm Zaid! Hahaha. Too true. Fortunately, the beans managed not to cry through our whole flight, but all the entertainment they had was the surfeit of Dollar Tree toys I bought and that were new only for the flight. Oh, and they slept okay because JuniorBean just slept on the floor under the seats giving the girls room to stretch out… we were quite a sight!

Qwaider, BA is better than RJ??!?!
you must be out of your mind! People here AVOID going to Amman with BA, first for the mandatory-stop at some city and then the service.

I don’t know why, but I guess you guys don’t have the emotional bond I have with RJ. Because just the minute I walk into the plane, I feel like Amman already :)

Omar, like you, I really want RJ to succeed. I’m encouraged by positive moves in the airline. I don’t mind pointing out the negatives from time to time, however, in an effort to let the company know which issues they need to work on.

An entertainment system (even in economy) would be great, on a 12 hour flight I’d be happy to pay $5 to pick a movie I can watch on my own screen. American Airlines lets you do that they also make you pay for your snacks and food, but if this means you can pick what to eat, that’s a good thing.

Hani, some RJ flights are already equipped with personal entertainment systems which allow passengers to choose from a variety of movies, TV shows, music and games. But it’s free at the moment, so don’t give them any ideas about charging per movie. I’m sure we’re paying for it in airline ticket costs already.
